Should the term be redefined?

The concept of sovereignty in the current international panorama generates discussions and a diversity of opinions due to its complexity and nuances. States are the dominant entities, they are the ones that make relations between nations possible, the pieces that make up nonstate actors, international organizations that change the landscape and, therefore, they are the core of the international system. However, due to the present prominence of globalization nowadays, the concept of sovereignty of these states must be redefined in such a way that it adapts to the undoubted interdependencies between them.
