YMD 2023 | Workshop 1 - Contributions of participants

As part of the event Youth Mediterranean Dialogue (YMD), organized by YATA Spain from the 11th to the 16th of September, 2023, a series of workshops were carried out to better understand the knowledge and perspective of the different participants on different security topics of interest.
After comparing the challenges of the Mediterranean and the Indo-Pacific, participants addressed their main threats:
Mediterranean: Civil unrest, immigration, interventionism, disinformation, terrorism, trafficking.
Indo-Pacific: China’s presence, national security affairs, Russian interventionism, Maritime Security, conflicts between state actors, and less relevance of trafficking.
