Highlights of the opening conference presented by the Spanish Chief of Defense Staff (JEMAD)

Last week, Madrid became the epicenter of the defense and security industry in Spain, hosting the fifth edition of the International Defense and Security Exhibition (FEINDEF). This annual event brought together experts, business leaders and senior government officials from around the world to explore and share the latest innovations and challenges in the field of security and defense. FEINDEF has established itself as a crucial meeting point for showcasing technological advances and discussing emerging trends in global security.
One of the highlights of the fair was the opening conference, presented by the Chief of Defense Staff (JEMAD), Admiral General Teodoro Esteban López Calderón. His lecture, entitled "Challenges for the defense industry in the current context", offered an in-depth view of the transformations and challenges facing the industry in the current geopolitical scenario, marked by the change of perspective following the war in Ukraine and a reality of uncertain cold war.
